The Gristle

DVD production for The Gristle, an Independent Hollywood feature, has been completed by the Ranch for filmmaker Geno Taylor. The film is distributed by Lightyear Entertainment.

Michael Dorn (Warf / Star Trek) stars in this urban who-done-it where some small time crooks mix up each other's scams. Fueling the turf wars are money, drugs, and ethnic slurs. The Gristle, however, has a deeper message about racial stereotypes that can't be ignored.

This film cuts some new ground below the line as well since The Gristle will be remembered as the first film ever financed by the Small Business Association (S.B.A.) It's a new approach by the US Government to do something meaningful about runaway production.

Check it out at Blockbuster Video or Netflix.com today.
